How to Take Methylphenidate:

  • Regular Tablets: Swallow with half a glass of water. You can break or chew these tablets without affecting their effectiveness.
  • Modified-Release Tablets/Capsules: Swallow whole with half a glass of water. Do not bite, chew, or dissolve them, as this can decrease their effectiveness.

It is recommended to take methylphenidate during meals to reduce the likelihood of side effects. If you do not experience any benefits after several weeks, consult your doctor as the medication or dosage may need to be adjusted.

Uses of Methylphenidate:

  • ADHD: Helps reduce symptoms by stimulating the central nervous system.
